Read before tonight

Margaret, this is our last chance. Just hours from now, the Democratic presidential candidates will take the debate stage for the first time. That means we have little time left to make our voices heard— As soon as you can, will you send a message to the candidates telling them to oppose one-size-fits-all health care? Margaret, these debates will be pivotal — they're going to set the tone for the rest of the primary. That's why we have to speak up and tell the candidates to say no to Medicare for all, Medicare buy-in, and the public option. These one-size-fits-all plans would result in higher taxes, higher health care costs, longer wait times for worse care. They would mean that federal bureaucrats would make our health care decisions instead of the doctors and nurses we trust. All of those possibilities are why we're speaking out.
