Your New Year’s Resolution: Protect Our Health Care!

Margaret,     It's the first month of the new year and most Americans are trying to stick to their resolutions. For us here at My Care, My Choice, our 2020 resolution is to increase the momentum we created in 2019 with the help of supporters like you.   We grew our community to over 1.2 million supporters in 2019 and now in 2020 we have to make sure we continue to fight against one-size-fits-all new government health insurance systems like Medicare for All, Medicare buy-in, and the public option.   Just this week, a new issue brief released by FTI Consulting titled "Medicare for All and the Future of America's Healthcare Workforce" shows Medicare for All would threaten the future of the American health care workforce and could result in over one million fewer doctors and nurses by 2050. No, you didn't read that wrong… we could be faced with a shortage of over ONE MILLION doctors and nurses with Medicare for All.   Make your voice heard by tweeting during the debate about why a government-run health insurance system is wrong for American working families.   Our doctors and nurses are vital to keeping us healthy and safe.
