Hi Margaret,   While COVID-19 has changed our daily life and interrupted our routines, it's important to support our local communities and the small businesses that call our neighborhoods home.   Below are some tips as we work together to support local businesses and restaurants in our communities. Order takeout: Some local restaurants are still open for takeout. Whether you call ahead or order on apps like Grubhub, Uber Eats, DoorDash, and others, the best way to support a local business is by buying their products. Today, many are allowing users to select a "contact-free" delivery option to keep everyone safe.   Buy gift cards: Gift cards are a great way to give businesses much needed cash flow now, in exchange for a service later. Shop early: If you are able, go ahead and complete shopping now that you would typically wait to do for a few months. Support the business early for beach season, back to school shopping, birthdays, and even Christmas. Leave positive reviews online: When businesses do reopen, new customers often check websites like Google, Yelp, and others for positive reviews.
