Hi Margaret,
As we write this, COVID-19 unfortunately continues to spread across the United States, and states are experiencing record levels of daily cases. As we all do our part by social distancing and washing our hands, we wanted to call special attention to the necessity of wearing a mask.
According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to the virus and that means wearing a cloth face mask to prevent respiratory droplets from spreading: Masks are an easy way to do your part in preventing the spread of COVID-19. In addition to protecting yourself, you're also protecting your loved ones by ensuring you don't infect them, even if you're not showing any symptoms.
Wondering who should wear a face mask? That's a great question!
The CDC recommends all people two years of age and older wear a cloth face covering in public settings and when around people who don't live in your household.
COVID-19 is highly contagious. Let's do our part and #MaskUp to prevent its spread any way we can, and that includes wearing a mask.
