Margaret, This weekend, while Americans across the country celebrate Independence Day, it's important to stay safe and healthy during the COVID-19 crisis. As a reminder, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has updated their guidelines: - Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after you have been in public or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick, even inside your home, and stay at least six feet from other people.
- If you are around others and do not have on your cloth face covering, remember to always cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze, or use the inside of your elbow.
- Clean and disinfect commonly used surfaces using EPA-registered household disinfectants like Clorox or Lysol.
Independence Day looks different this year, but a healthy America is a rebuilding America, and that means staying diligent about COVID-19 this holiday weekend. Stay safe and enjoy the weekend, Team My Care, My Choice |
