![]() ![]() It's safe to say this summer has blown by incredibly fast and we can't believe the national political conventions are just a few days away! As the political parties come together to formally nominate their presidential candidates, My Care, My Choice supporters across the country can raise their voices on why it's important to build on what's working where private coverage, Medicare, and Medicaid work together – not start over with a new government-controlled plan.
Today, Medicare and Medicaid help millions of Americans – from children and families to the elderly and disabled. These two pillars of our health care system show how the free market and public programs can work together to serve patients.
Over these next two weeks, make your voice heard about why we should build on what's working for American patients, not start over with one-size-fits-all government health insurance systems like Medicare for All and the public option. With health care a top issue for voters as the election gets closer, let's make health care more affordable by promoting greater choice and control for all Americans, no matter where or how they get their coverage.
This month we are focused on helping our 1.2 million supporters spread the word. We have everything from tweets, shareable graphics, and other materials to help elevate the importance of health care and coverage.
With that, let's get into this month's newsletter.
