My Care, My Choice, My Voice: Submit Your Video Testimonial!

Margaret,   The Democratic National Convention kicked off yesterday, starting the conversation about the party's priorities on a number of issues, including health care. As the discussion begins, one important part that's missing is….YOU! That's why we're excited to announce our new video testimonial tool!       As a My Care, My Choice supporter, we need you to make your voice heard about why it's important for us to build on what's working where private coverage, Medicare, and Medicaid work together – not start over.    Can we count on you to join the conversation and a record a short 30-second video? Videos should be short and focus on why YOU support building on what's working in health care — whether it's protecting choice and control over your health care decisions or the importance of preserving access to high-quality care. Your story can be as simple as:   "Hi, my name is John Doe. Health care is an important issue to me. I value my health care because I have choice and control over the doctors that are best for me and my family. I like my options and I am grateful for my doctors. That's why I support our health care system."     OR     "Hi, my name is Jane Doe. Health care is an important issue to me. I value our health care because Americans with pre-existing conditions like me, have access to high-quality care. Let's protect what's working in our health care system."
