Trees are essential for keeping us and our environment healthy. Trees provide oxygen, cool our communities, filter water, clean the air, prevent flooding, and improve health.
But every year, we lose 36 million trees due to age, disease, infestation, and extreme weather. To help address this problem, Subaru is proud to continue our partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation™.
Each spring, Subaru and our retailers provide and distribute trees to communities nationwide for our Subaru Loves the Earth® initiative. Anyone can reserve a regionally appropriate tree that's ready to be planted, free of charge at their local participating Subaru retailer, whether they own a Subaru or not.
Subaru is proud to foster the largest corporate community tree distribution program in the history of the Arbor Day Foundation, leveraging our network of retailers to get trees into communities where they are needed most. Since the program began last year, we will have provided and distributed 165,000 trees. Through this and other initiatives, Subaru and our retailers have helped distribute and plant over 1.1 million trees.
Subaru has always been committed to protecting and conserving the earth for future generations. We continue to build on that legacy by providing trees to communities across the country. Together, we are growing greener, healthier communities for generations to come.
